Job Fairs

Job fairs provide an excellent opportunity for employers and educators to meet face to face with potential employees and for job seekers to visit with a variety of employers at one location.

The South Dakota Career Planning and Placement Association sponsors three job fairs to serve the needs of our graduates and help regional employers fill their staffing needs.

	The BIG (Business Industry Government) Job Fair is held each February in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. A wide variety of employers from many areas of business, industry and governmental agencies attend this fair.
	The Black Hills Regional Job Fair is held during the month of March in Rapid City, South Dakota. A wide variety of employers from the Black Hills region and across the nation attend this fair.
	The South Dakota Teacher Job Fair is held in mid April in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. School Districts from South Dakota, neighboring states and from around the nation attend this fair.
